The Financial Explorer originated as a concept of the 2nd batch of department of finance. The sole objective of the magazine is to replenish the readers thirst for financial knowledge. The Magazine targets all who have an interest in the world of Finance & its development.

Being the official magazine of SAF the magazine wishes to publish all the activities carried out to the date of progress of the society in order to keep its past present & potential members updated about their beloved society.

The initial issue of the magazine is to be launched in January & therefore be to published in quarterly.
 
The prime objective:
To enrich and update the knowledge of the Sri Lanka and global current issues taking place related to finance.
   
The secondary objective:
To create an awareness of the Department of finance among the Corporate sector.

To develop skills and knowledge of the students of the department.

To act as the official magazine of SAF.
